Fiber Content:
The brass ones have little plastic teeth to grip your socks. The nickel ones have one wide tooth on one side, so thick styles will be best for these.
...if you fear they will damage your socks, insert a little piece of felt between your socks and the clips.
Sizing Tips:
They require a thick strap, 3/4 to 1 inch wide.
